TECRE projects provide experiential learning for students while benefiting hurricane disaster victims. Recipients of TECRE projects with annual salaries below $10,000/year are prioritized. Students participate in nano- and micro-grid design and assist with deployment of donation funded solar systems. To ensure NEC compliance, TECRE works with a licensed master electrician. TECRE can also engage in contractual work where profits are reinvested into TECRE mission activities.
Project sponsorship is tax deductible. TECRE is a 501(c)(3).
The Technology and Education Center for Renewable Energy, a Puerto Rican 501 (c)(3), depends on your donations to make a difference!
For donations via check, please reach out to our staff for orientation via our contact form or contact us by phone: 787-587-3748
Puerto Rico Act 60-20-22 residents can satisfy their donation requirement by contributing to the TECRE Mission.
