The initiative to establish a renewable energy policy based on a cyclic battery economy in Puerto Rico benefits from all types of support.
Individuals, advocacy groups, and companies are encouraged to share our website (www.tecre.org) on social media and on their websites. For companies willing to co-host the live-streamed symposium, please contact us using the form on the “Contact Us” page, or email e.smotkin@tecre.org.
Attending the symposium on Wednesday October 28th, 2026 is also a great way to get involved! Increased attendance at the event will foster enhanced collaboration and will magnify the impact of this unique initiative on a global scale.
We sincerely appreciate those who are able make a financial donation to the cause. Seed funding from donations will support increased advocacy about the Yellow Zone Initiative to local communities as well as government officials. Donations will also cover the cost of the equipment (NuVant Systems EVc-30 units) that will be deployed for battery triage and reconditioning operations. These funds will also support the refurbishing centers and other infrastructure required to ensure that backup energy systems created with repurposed batteries are accessible and operable by all who need them.
Financial sponsorship of this initiative is tax deductible. TECRE is a Puerto Rican 501(c)(3).
